Why a digital bibliography site?
Hans Bergström about his text archive

We recently released an online archive with Hans Bergström’s collected writings from the 1980s and forward. In a newly recorded conversation, the journalist, political scientist and public voice Hans Bergström tells more about his “bibliography site”, and why he believes old texts needs to be kept close at hand even years after they were first written.

Hans Bergström, born in 1948, has been a speechwriter for three leaders of the Liberal party (then Folkpartiet), editor-in-chief of Nerikes Allehanda and in two rounds editor-in-chief of Sweden’s leading daily Dagens Nyheter. He holds a PhD in political science from the University of Gothenburg. Since 2003, Hans’ main focus has been on developing the International English School together with Barbara Bergström. In his long career, Hans has been an active voice in the public debate. In addition to editorials and articles, he has written essays, magazine articles and a number of books.

Now the main part of Hans’ production is collected on a new bibliography site, hansbergstrom.se, which we wrote about earlier.

Here you can hear how Hans Bergström himself describes the background and purpose of the new site, in a conversation with our head of communication Anders Sjöman.
