Benito Peix Geldart, researcher at our research center, presents two papers at the 26 annual congress of the European Business History Association, in Oslo 24–26 August 2023.
The first paper, titled “What can Swedish business archives tell us about Jews and business?” is part of the session Jews in Business: Marginality, Agency and the Minority Experience” (25 August at 9:00-10:30). The session also has papers presented by professor Rebecca Kobrin (Columbia University, NY), prof. Roger Horowitz (University of Delaware and Hagley Library) and FD Trisha Oakley Kessler (Wolff Institute, Cambridge, UK).
The second paper, “Olof Söderberg and the rise of modern industrial and trade organizations in early 20th Century Sweden” is presented within the session “Varieties of Capitalism” (August 26 at 1:45-3:15 p.m.), which also includes contributions from professors Javier Fernández- Roca and Jesús López Manjón (Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Seville, Spain), Valerio Varini (Università degli studi Milano – Bicocca, Italy) and Judit Klement (Eötvös Loránd University Budapest).
