During the corona crisis, various actors have quickly wanted to find major changes and shifts – and they often use existing perspectives for that. But if we are to draw lasting lessons, we need both historical knowledge and documentation of what actually happened.
A person that, in many ways meant much to, the Centre for Business History, has passed away. Professor Hans De Geer, Stockholm, died on 10 June 2021 at the age of 76. He is grieved by his wife Eva and sons Jonas, with daughters Emilia and Josefin, and Henrik with wife Karolina.
Bengt Jangfeldt tells about the Nobel family’s unknown corporate empire in a new book. The book is the end result of over 10 years of international archive project in which a previously unknown archive from the Nobel brothers’ oil company in Baku plays a central role.
