At the Centre for Business History, we offer over 70,000 shelf meters of material for research. You can start your research online, though. Here’s a run-through of which archives we hold and which online service we offer.
Our client companies’ source material depict the Swedish busines history. They are Sweden’s business history. So is the large amount of “orphan material” that we manage after defunct companies. This is what you can find at our facilities in Bromma:
- Depositors with the Centre for Business History (pdf, in Swedish) – These organizations have deposited their historical material with us.
- Archive list with the Centre for Business History (pdf, in Swedish) – These are the archives you can find with us. The number of archives is much larger than the number of depositors, since many companies are part of larger groups. Here you also find the “orphan archives”, where the organization that once upon a time created the material no longer exists.
