Our quarterly magasin Företagshistoria and its sister site BizStories.se has been awarded Industrial Heritage Publication of the Year 2023 by the Swedish Industrial Heritage Association. Thank you!
The jury’s motivation reads (in our translation from Swedish):
“The magazine Företagshistoria and the website BizStories are published by the Centre for Business History. The editors dig into the archives and give us glimpses of the development of industrial and business in Sweden, often illuminated from unexpected and contemporary angles. Gadgets, industries and people who shaped and made Sweden are introduced in broad cultural-historical contexts. The Centre for Business History, and its magazine Företagshistoria and website BizStories, receive the Industrial Heritage Publication of the Year 2023 award for their diligent public information work, always with a sharp pen.”
The Swedish Industrial Heritage Association (SIM), which gives the award, is a national association for the history and cultural heritage of industrial society. The association works for conservation efforts, documentation, revitalization and research into the history and cultural heritage of industrial society.
