On 2 October, this year’s third issue of Företagshistoria hits stores. It covers the King and the business world, the history of car safety testing – and as always brings out some fun facts from the business archives.
Following in the footsteps of their ancestor Jean Baptiste Bernadotte, six Swedish monarchs have for more than 200 years worked to support Swedish business life. During his 50 years on the throne, King Carl XVI Gustaf has frequently visited companies around the country, and also acted as a door opener for many companies that want to establish themselves abroad.
But even if royalty dominates the new issue of Företagshistoria, we also talk about other things. For example, we go through the 60 years of Bilprovningen for increased traffic safety and tell the story of Ingegärd Levander, the “Tar Queen from Vindeln”.
The magazine is on sale at Pressbyrån from 3 October.
