Södra is Sweden’s largest forest owner association with over 50,000 forest owners as members. With a history that stretches from 1938, much historical material has been created within the organization. The Center for Business History’s archive consultants are currently helping Södra to do inventory, organizton and listing of that material.
After surveying in 2017 which historical material that was available at Södra’s facilities in Småland and Blekinge, our archive consultants Jenny Stendahl and Bartosz Petryk are now hard at work organizing and listing the archives of Sweden’s largest forest owners association. The work is carried out at the Södra’s own archive facilities.
In parallel, the editorial team at the Center for Business History has also worked on developing a web history in connection with Södra’s 80th anniversary. Read more about that here.
