Four nominations

for the Publishing Prize 2021

We have four nominations in the Publishing Prize 2021! The magazines “Företagshistoria” and “TWOHUNDRED – Money and life since 1820” as well as the films “BZH360 – A Småland history” and “The Savings Bank Idea – Since 1820” have nominations. The winners will be announced on 17 November 2021.

The Publishing Prize, which has been awarded since 1990, is an annual jury-based competition “for commendable editorial and marketing communication”. The jury consists of active communicators such as photographers, graphic designers, film producers, journalists and editors.

En värld utan banker – Sparbanksidén sedan 1820
i samarbete med Ekonomiska museet.

1820 öppnade den första sparbanken i Sverige. Den 200-åriga utvecklingen av sparbanksrörelsen sedan dess speglar landets och bankväsendets utveckling. Allt detta behandlas i en ny filmserie, ”Sparbanksidén sedan 1820”, som vi gjort tillsammans med Ekonomiska museet.

Företagshistoria #1 2021

This issue of Företagshistoria is largely about care and medicine. The history of occupational health care is examined and the history of the Swedish pharmaceutical companies is told. In addition, we get to know more about how the ski resort Åre has developed over the years.

TVÅHUNDRA – Pengarna och livet sedan 1820
in collaboration with Swedbank.

Swedbank and the savings bank idea turned 200 in 2020. We at the Center for Business History have, together with Swedbank, made an anniversary magazine that tells the two-century-long story of how the savings banks and the country developed.
